Jenkinson Antiques

Peter Jenkinson started trading as Fountain Antiques in 1974 at Belair Road, Hawthorn, South Australia.  The business dealt mainly in Australiana and the restoration of 19^th Century Furniture.  After trading at several locations in and around Adelaide, the business is now located in a historic converted bakery in Parkside.

Changing times have meant that we have replaced the “on the street” antique shop with an on-line one.  Over 35 years of trading and considerable experience in the general antique trade has meant that Peter now operates a knowledge based business rather than a workshop based one.

Customers are, however, able to visit the premises in Parkside (strictly by appointment only) in order to view antiques they may be interested to purchase.

We have supplied a number of fine objects to the Art Gallery of South Australia, the National Museum of Australia, the South Australian Museum and numerous private collections.
